I don't even bother asking my friends or relatives to stay with my dog anymore. She would much rather go spend time at SVDC! She literally starts whining when we get close to the turn off. When she sees Marla or Jeff, there's no keeping her calm. This place truly is doggie paradise. Also, I can scrub her in our bathtub, but she is never as clean and pretty as when Tammy is done with her. There aren't enough stars to give this place.

needed training, shortly after they opened their business. We brought them an

untrained dog and got back a pet who finally listened! They did a wonderful

Dear SVDC,

Let's begin with the fact that we are VERY picky

about where we leave our Bobby.  He is a special pup who we adopted

through the Lucky Dog program in Hutchinson.  He has been through so much

and we will not leave him with just anyone.  We were drawn to your

facility through your website and Facebook page.  Although we do not buy

all that we read online, we felt a certain connection to the Smokey Valley Dog

Center as a place that was established by people who cared as much about their

animals as we do.  We were not disappointed!!  Our Bobby spent over a

week in Jeff and Marla's care and came home well adjusted and as happy as if he

had never been away from home.   They kept us updated via email, including

pictures, that made us feel comfortable knowing that he was happy and in good

hands.  We will not hesitate to use SVDC's services again and know that

our Bobby looks forward to it even more than we do!!  Thank you Marla and

Jeff for peace of mind that we haven't found anywhere else!

My American pit bull terrier is very loving by nature but his

hyperactivity was out of control when I took him to Jeff and Marla. He would

jump on people, run off if he was unleashed or out of the fence, jump on

guests, tear up the house if left alone, jumped on the furniture and barked

incessantly. We were at the point where we felt there was no option but to find

him a different home. A friend told me about Jeff and his ability to train even

the most unruly dogs. I was hesitant about it because I have seen some types of

behavior training that seemed abusive and cruel. I didn't want to end up with a

dog that was fearful all the time as a result of the wrong type of training.

Within 15 minutes Jeff had my out-of-control dog sitting,

heeling and laying down! My sister and I watched in amazement as Jeff explained

each step of the training and how a dog thinks. Jeff was very stern yet very

kind and rewarding toward Diablo during the training.

By being consistent with the fundamentals Jeff gave us, our

four-legged companion is now an enjoyable part of our family. Diablo is also

happier and more confident. He can be 50 yards away and still returns

immediately with one simple command. No more jumping on people or "walking us"

when we take him for a walk.

Thank you, Jeff and Marla! We would not have had the opportunity

to keep and enjoy Diablo without you!

Everyone that knows me knows I was not a big fan of getting a dog. Never wanted him,

never really much liked him. We got him for the husband and kids. After taking Chewbacca

out to the Smoky Valley Dog Center, LLC my tune has changed. There is a night and day

difference. They worked a miracle. Sent him there a mess and he came out

SOOOOOO much better. I height recommend their obedience school!!!

We still have work to do but that's to be expected. Thank you SVDC!!!!

We will never take him anywhere else!!!! ---

Would highly recommend the training program to anyone who owns a dog. Took my 6 month old Rottweiler to them. Had her downtown today for parade n festivities around several thousand people. She was extremely well behaved n obeyed my every command!

This is the best place to take your pets, hands down! I had 3 days to find a place to board our 3 dogs and when I found Smoky Valley Dog Center I thought it was going to be extremely expensive, but it turned out that they are super affordable with great rates, and even greater staff! I won’t take my dogs anywhere else now!

Hi guys. Well look at this we have been at the races all weekend and the dog that she just could not stand is now her best friend. When we went to the trailer she wanted to go back out and play with all the dogs. There was 8 other dogs and she did great. But she just loved being with this big guy. Thank u so much.....
